No. A free account is enough to get your link. If you are a customer, you keep your commissions even if you stop your own subscription.

30% of what your customer pays, excluding tax, on each of their payments, as long as they stay subscribed, then 35% from 10 paying customers, 40% from 25. If they move to a higher plan, your commission follows. A Pro customer, for example, earns you €59.70 a month at 30%. Your 30% is frozen the day you join: if the public rate ever drops, yours does not move.

Once 10 of your customers have paid at least once, you earn 35% of every payment from all your customers, including the ones you brought before. At 25, 40%. A customer who cancels still counts: your tier does not drop when customers leave. A customer whose payments were all refunded does not count. Commissions already recorded keep their rate.

Each commission is validated 30 days after your customer's payment. On the 10th of each month, we pay out what is validated, from €50. Below that, it rolls over to the next month. By bank transfer (SEPA) or PayPal, in euros. An example, with no discount: your customer starts their trial on the Pro plan on March 1. They pay their first month on March 22. Your €59.70 commission is validated on April 21, then paid out on May 10.

The commission is cancelled by the amount of the refund. If it was already paid out to you, the difference is deducted from your next commissions.

Through your link, if they accept the "Partner program" cookie: the link is kept for 60 days, and the last link clicked wins. Once their account is created, they are attached to you for good. If they decline the cookie, they are attached to no one. The cookie choice is offered on the French site, where partner links land: the English banner has no such category, because the program is run in French.

Your customer creates their own Oriva account through your link (they accept the partner cookie), then invites you as an admin from their Team page so you can do the setup. They are then attached to you, and each of their payments earns you a commission. An account you create for yourself, and the domains you track under your own subscription, stay yours: no commission on your own account.

Because the law forbids it without the visitor's consent: for the CNIL, France's data protection authority, an affiliate link is a tracker like any other. A visitor who declines the cookie is attached to no one: that is the rule, for you as for us.

Signing up yourself with your own link, posting your link on a promo-code site, buying ads on the Oriva name, sending unsolicited messages, or promising results Oriva does not guarantee. The details are in the terms.

You see each signup, where it stands (in trial, subscribed, subscription ended) and what it earns you, and you get an email at each signup and at each customer's first payment. Not their name or their address: your customers did not agree to be shown.
