Oriva, a Triple Whale alternative

Published on by the Oriva team.

Triple Whale indexes its price on your store's annual revenue (GMV), and says so itself: “All prices are based on a combination of your brand's annual GMV and the package you choose.” Its two paid tiers, Foundation and Automate, come with no visible amount on their pricing page: you have to book a sales call to get it. The commitment is 12 months. Triple Whale offers a free tier (10 users, 12 months of history, first/last-click attribution), but its highest tier, Enterprise, is also entirely quote-only, and the annual commitment locks your tier for the whole year if your revenue grows in the meantime. Oriva publishes a flat price per domain, visible without calling anyone, independent of your revenue. Triple Whale is distributed as a Shopify app (but also connects to WooCommerce, BigCommerce and custom platforms).

Triple Whale's price depends on your annual revenue and is only visible after a sales call; Oriva's is public and flat.

What is Triple Whale, exactly?

A dashboard that brings together ad signals, logistics, email and SMS, with an AI assistant (Moby) to turn that data into decisions. Its tracking is called “Triple Pixel”. Sonar Send and Sonar Optimize, two data enrichment features tied to Meta, are included in every paid tier, at no separate cost.

What does it change for you?

  • A price you know before you sign up. At Triple Whale, you have to book a call to learn the price of Foundation or Automate; at Oriva, the three prices are on the pricing page;
  • A price that doesn't move with your growth. Triple Whale automatically moves you to a higher tier if your revenue grows; Oriva's price stays the same;
  • No 12-month commitment.

Who doesn't need Oriva?

  • Your store runs on Shopify and you want a single dashboard for ads, email, SMS and logistics, with an AI assistant to analyze it. That's what Triple Whale does, not Oriva, which only does conversion tracking and sending it to the platforms.
  • Triple Whale's Free plan is enough for you for a first setup, with no commitment.

Oriva is for when you want to know your price before you sign up, and have it stay the same whatever your growth.
